报告题目：The ins and outs of functional fruit genomics
Dr Jia-Long Yao is a Principal Scientist at The New Zealand Institute for Plant & Food Research Limited (Plant and Food Research). His research has been focused on developing efficient genetic transformation systems for fruit trees and analyzing gene function using these transformation systems together with modern genomics tools. His team have identified genes controlling apple fruit size, shape, seedlessness, and texture. He leads the research programme “Overcoming Pollination Barriers” carried by a multidisciplinary team at Plant and Food Research to understand genetic mechanisms controlling parthenocarpy and self-pollination and develop efficient pollination technologies.

报告题目：G蛋白的探索之旅：走向绿色高产
欧阳亦聃，华中农业大学教授，博士生导师。国家高层次人才特殊支持计划“青年拔尖人才”，教育部“长江学者奖励计划”青年学者，农业农村部“农业科研杰出人才”，教育部课程思政教学名师。长期围绕杂交稻复杂性状的调控机制展开研究，先后获国家自然科学基金重大项目课题等支持，相关研究工作以通讯作者在Science、Nat Commun、PNAS、Mol Plant（4篇）等发表论文24篇，并受邀在Annu Rev Plant Biol、Curr Opin Plant Biol等发表综述论文。研究成果多次入选封面故事、被F1000数据库推荐，入选ESI高被引论文，多次被新华社、人民日报、光明日报、新闻联播和央视新闻等主流媒体报道。参编国际专著/译著2部、参编《作物功能基因组学》、《植物学》、《现代遗传学》等教材。授权/申请专利11项、软件著作权3项。获湖北省高等学校教学成果特等奖。
